The company famous for baked beans and soups is seeking a new PR agency to handle its accounts. The previous agency Cow PR has decided not to re-pitch for the business.
Heinz invited four agencies to offer proposals and the company is yet to choose which they would like to work with.
The director of Heinz, Nigel Dickie described the four year period during which the company was promoted by Cow PR as successful, but said that it was time for the company to undertake a PR review.
The pitch will not affect the agencies which already work with the food company, including Grayling and Cohn & Wolfe who manage consumer PR for a range of Heinz sauces including Heinz Tomato Ketchup and Mayo.
