John Doe Selected By Amnesty International

Public Affairs jobs John Doe has been newly appointed by Amnesty International to publicise the organisation (and their global campaigning for human rights.) The agency’s work will specifically focus on their new youth content campaign and will also be heavily digital. The PR agency which works with some big names including: Sony Playstation, Channel 4 and Tate Britain won a three-way pitch to take on the account.

John Doe’s founder Rans Reeves said that the account team’s goal would be to seed content and introduce Amnesty International to youth and web communities; helping to spread the organisation’s messages about human rights and to reach a wider audience by having content featured on arts and culture, fashion and music sites. In a PR WEEK article she also stressed that they would be building ongoing relationships with the youth-friendly sites. The brief covers a three month period.
