Poundworld Choose Lucre

   

The high-street discount goods retailer Poundworld has enlisted Lucre for new campaigns, keeping them on the books as their UK PR agency after ending deals with Candid PR. The chain which has over 125 UK outlets is planning to expand and open a further 40 in the coming year.

Raising the chain’s profile on a corporate level is Lucre’s main brief and there are three brands which Poundworld holds, including Poundworld, Poundworld Express and Discount UK. The marketing director at Poundworld, Martin Birks commented on the deal in a recent PR Week article, he said: “We want Lucre to help turn our brands into household names as we plan to have our stores feature in [more] high streets across the UK.”
