PR 150 Table Shows Recovery from Recession

Financial PR jobs   Growth rates of the top 150 consultancies shows recovery from the recession as Marketing, Advertising and PR activity increase. The research, undertaken by PR Week reveals a near 10% growth trend throughout the industry.

The PR Week Top 150 league tables for 2010 lists UK PR agencies in order of income and other data and has shown growth last year to the tune of 9.24%. According to a PR Week article this statistic was worked out by Kingston Smith W1 using financial data provided to the company by the PR agencies.

In 2009 growth shrank to just 1% but this news realigns the industry with growth figures which were projected back in 2008, proving true recovery from the economic downturn. Bell Pottinger is still the UK’s biggest agency by fee income with £68 million billed in this report. That represents an increase of £7.9 million (fee income) on 2009 figures.
