The Fashion and Lifestyle PR agency Talk PR has bought Beam to capitalise on their expertise in the Tech PR sector. Beam which is based in Clerkenwell, London was originally founded in 2002 by Jane Leah and from the 3rd of January the team will relocate to Talk PR’s headquarters at Rathbone Place.
There are no redundancies and the combined agency will have a new head count of 53 employees. Talk PR which is owned by M&C Saatchi will set up a new division using the team from Beam and will call it Talk Technology. They will also retain all of Beam’s existing clients, such as Griffin Technology and Fujifilm. Jane Leah will lead the new division and has said she looks forward to tapping in to Talk PR’s European network.
