Several PR agencies have been dropped by the BBC in an effort for the organization to save money. Three different agencies which were working on popular BBC shows have been axed by the company. The BBC claims the changes were due to the company’s desire to become more efficient as part of new policies.
The communications for Doctor Who and other shows will reportedly go in-house and the agencies which had their contracts ended were Premier PR which was working on Doctor Who, Ian Johnson Publicity who were working on Holby City and Just Williams PR that had the account for Casualty.
