Pharma giant Pfizer have hired Tonic Life Communications to promote their popular vitamin product Centrum Multivitamin. The brand is the number one multivitamin internationally and the new campaigns are expected to be aimed at consumers who are aged between 26 and 40. The intention of the PR campaign is to reinforce the positive health benefits which the product can provide consumers.
A research firm (Mintel) recently reported that 25 to 24 year olds are generally more skeptical about the health benefits of multivitamins than other age groups, (according to Prweek) and as a result, this demographic are typically lighter users.
Tonic Life will run the campaign throughout 2011 and will also emphasize the importance of a work/life balance. Matthew Coy, senior account manager will be in charge of the campaign and will be reposting to Sasha Whipman, the Pfizer Consumer Healthcare brand manager.
