Tupperware is planning to re-launch in he UK market with PR campaigns ran by Shine Communications. Back in 2003 Tupperware withdrew its UK business and almost 1,700 redundancies were made. The company claimed its reason for withdrawal was a change in consumer demand.
However, this year the company will relaunch and intends to reposition as a supplier and maker of premium homeware products. Shine Communications was Tupperware’s previous PR agency and has been retained for PR, marketing and communications activity following a six-way pitch for the account. The brief will entail planning, social media, experiential, public relations and strategic development.
