Say Communications has been chosen to promote Under Siege, a real-time strategy game for PlayStation3. The agency will be raising the game’s profile in preparation for when it becomes available to consumers next week.
The game will not be bought by gamers in high street stores however; it is being sold online via the Playstation Network as a download. The developer Seed Studios is the party which chose Communications to fulfil the promotional brief. The game retails at £11.99 and has already stirred up a buzz on numerous gaming blogs.
Key selling points which Say’s promotional efforts are likely to focus on include the game’s user-generated content and the fact RTS software was integrated, allowing the new Playstation Move Controller to be used with the game.
Louise Stewart-Muir, Say Communication’s MD said that Seed Studios was pushing the boundaries of game design and that she looked forward to publicising the game.
